Dear Capoeiristas:

We will be having a Bake Sale this Sunday during the Farmer's Market to continue our support of Stephanie Palacios. Please meet at the studio at 10:30am if you can help. If you can't help on that day, please bring by a baked good to the studio on Saturday during studio hours (10:30am-4:30pm).
Stephanie is such an important part of our Capoeira family, we hope to see you there!

6th Batizado Capoeira Sul da Bahia-DC

Please join us for our Capoeira Batizado (Graduation) and workshops organized by Instructor Busho.

- Capoeira workshops All Levels and open to ALL Capoeira Comunity with Contra-Mestre Maxuel from Paris, France & Professor Chin from California.

When: Sat Oct 29th 5:00-7:00pm. Cost is $30 for one workshop or $40 for both!

Where: Workshop will be held at the Dance Exchange Studio 7117 Maple Ave, Takoma Park MD -just two blocks away from Roda Studio.

BATIZADO
When: Sun Oct 30th 11:30am-3pm
Where: Dance Exchange Studio
Cost, $15 participate (includes a free t-shirt), $5 donation to view, your donation enters you in a raffle for a beautiful Brazilian tambourine or "pandeiro".

In the 6th Annual Capoeira Sul da Bahia DC Batizado students will receive cords according to their skill level and experience with capoeira. Many talented professors, instructors and students will be joining us from all over the national and international capoeira community!

1st Annual Kids Batizado

On Sunday April 10th, capoeira Sul da Bahia-DC will host their first ever "Kids Batizado" with special guest Contra-Mestre Maxuel from France administering the event! This will be a graduation ceremony in which kids who have been training at roda movements will recieve the next level belt. This is the first time the kids will have the stage all to themselves as they demonstrate all of their hard work over the past months! Come support all the kids and their families for this event, hope to see you at the studio! Free and Open to the Public! Come to see the little ones playing capoeira and getting their belts!
